The village of Balquhidder lies in central
Scotland and is mainly known for being
the burial place of Rob Roy.
The scenery in the Balquhidder Glen area
and Loch Voil to the West of Balquhidder
is quite simply stunning. For those who
like to get out and about, there are a
number of munro's which are easily
accessible from Loch Voil. Stob Binnein,
Ben More, Beinn Tulaichean,
Cruach Ardrain and Beinn a'Chroin.
There is also good cycling as there are
miles of quiet roads and the National
Cycle Track no. 7 goes through this area.
